In miHoYo’sGenshin Impact, there is a wide variety of different characters to choose from. Units specialized in healing, high-tier DPS with even higher damage output, as well as characters designed to support. All said and done, very few onGenshin Impact’sroster can match the unique style of Mondstadt’s resident genius — Albedo.

Albedo makes for anexcellent support characterwith Geo constructs that offer high-level tactical advantages. Albedo’s talents allow him to be used in a multitude of different ways. This ironically makes for a lot of trouble narrowing down which characters excel at a party with the alchemist.

Of course, the freedom of dealing DMG without being on the field allows Albedo to perform perfectly with any other character in Genshin Impact. Since Albedo is being featured in another rerun banner in Genshin Impact, it’s important to add some of the best units that operate well with him in the same team comp.
13Zhongli
Albedo is known to be good with everyone inGenshin Impact, and so does Zhongli. So what happens when one puts together two characters that are good with everyone?
Albedo and Zhongli are an overpowered duo to be inany team composition inGenshin Impact. Both Geo users activate the Geo Resonance to easily add 15% DMG to their team. Zhongli shields the active character and shreds enemies’ resistance against Physical and Elemental attacks. Albedo will also benefit from Zhongli’s kit and inflict more DMG while supporting his teammates.
12Gorou
Since Albedo depends on his DEF stats to deal DMG inGenshin Impact, Gorou is a perfect choice to tag along with the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius. What makes the Canine Warrior great with Albedo is Gorou’s kit which buffs DEF and Geo DMG. Albedo’s ability to snapshot buffs makes them an excellent pair.
While both characters are off-field, they’ll skyrocket Albedo’s Elemental Skill DMG since they’ll also have the Geo Resonance activated. Gorou can also wield Favonius Warbow andoperate as aGenshin Impactbattery for the team.
11Arataki Itto
The First and Greatest Head of the Arataki Gang is a character that performs best when surrounded by Geo characters. Arataki Itto needs Gorou, Albedo, Zhongli, and Yun Jin to maximize the effectiveness of his team composition.
To put it simply, Arataki Itto is a selfish main DPS that will go berserk when activating his Elemental Burst, dealing Geo DMG with his Normal and Charged attacks. What he needs is characters that can maximize his DMG during that period, and the best units that can achieve this goal are, without a doubt, other Geo units, especially Gorou.
10Hu Tao
Before Yelan,Hu Tao’s had one of the best team compositions inGenshin Impact. Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Zhongli, and Albedo were a strong team with a plan to make sure Hu Tao and Xingqiu vape enemies nonstop with the highest possible DMG with the Support of Zhongli and Albedo.
After Yelan’s release, Hu Tao’s best team comp became with Xingqiu and Yelan since they add 25% HP to the entire team, which will greatly increase their DMG and survivability. Of course, Albedo is still super effective with Hu Tao, and both of them can still dominate the abyss and all the hard challenges inGenshin Impacttogether.
9Mona
Good friends in lore due to their shared love of knowledge, Mona makes for a good teammate with Albedo.Mona’s talents makefor some of the easiest applications of Hydro status in the game. This makes for a great enabler of crystallization reactions.
Either could work as the main DPS of the team or as two supports that work off of each other. Whether it be Mona’s Hydro talents or Albedo’s swordplay downing the enemies, both benefit from deflecting even a little bit of damage and generating maximum shielding.
8Chongyun
One of the biggest downsides of Chongyun has always been his elemental skill. Granted, the zone is convenient for Chongyun, but it turns everybody’s attacks into Cryo attacks. Not convenient for elemental reactions but this isn’t the case with Albedo.

Albedo is the great exception to Chongyun’s faults. Albedo’s skill makes zones that give off Geo energy, rather than infusing his attacks. In this way, Albedo can utilize Chongyun’s Cryo-infusion to defeat the enemy while also benefiting from easily crystallized shields.
7Xiao
Xiao is already well-known for hisability to use plunging attackswithout fall damage but in combination with Albedo’s tactical merit, he becomes so much more. Higher impacts after leaping from Albedo’s constructs can only increase Xiao’s high plunging damage.

Xiao also benefits from the extra Geo damage, making crowds of enemies shiver in the process. That said, due to the peculiarities of Xiao’s abilities, and the lack of an easy crystallization ability, players should be warned that a healer could be beneficial.
6Razor
Razor is the best among the four stars in a lot of areas. Among these, he reigns supreme in plunging damage granting a natural advantage for Albedo’s playstyle.
TRazor has more benefits than just natural supremacy in damage — his talents not only infuse Electro into attacks but are among the easiest to use in quick succession. Razor’s elemental skill increases energy recharge allowing him to reuse his burst more than other characters.
5Xingqiu
It’s not just in lore that Xingqiu and Albedo work well together — they’re good partners in battle as well. Xingqiu’s Rain Blades are convenient for the vast majority of characters inGenshin Impact. Albedo is no exception to this rule either, finding more use for the skill than others.

Albedo has the potential to deal good damage, so Xingqiu’s blades offer a major benefit. With Rain Blades creating constant shields around Albedo, players can focus more on building Albedo’s attack and talents.
4Beidou
When building Albedo as a support-class fighter, few four-star DPS characters stand out as much as Beidou. Her skillswork to countercrowds just as much as single opponents, not to mention her excellent mastery of Electro damage.
Like others, Beidou makes for easy crystallize reactions. In addition, she has the added benefit of being an incredible damage dealer for her rarity. Should players master Beidou’s skills, they will find that she makes one of the best DPS-support partnerships with Albedo.
